Who we are

AI Act Gap (www.aiactgap.com) is a free EU AI Act technical readiness checker. The data controller is AI Act Gap, reachable at privacy@aiactgap.com.

Assessment results

When you complete the readiness assessment, your answers and scores are stored anonymously on secure AWS S3 infrastructure in the eu-west-1 region. No personally identifiable information (PII) is stored in assessment results — only your answers, calculated scores, and a timestamp.

Email opt-in

After completing the assessment, you may optionally submit your email address to receive updates about EU AI Act regulatory changes. This is entirely voluntary.

• What is collected: email address, company name (optional), role, number of AI systems, and your biggest compliance challenge.
• Why: to send you relevant updates when EU AI Act requirements change.
• Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Retention: until you unsubscribe.
• How to unsubscribe: reply “unsubscribe” to any email we send, or write to privacy@aiactgap.com.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for cookieless, anonymous visitor analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and collects no personal data. It is fully GDPR-compliant and no cookie banner is required.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Assessment result data is stored anonymously and is never linked to your identity.

All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region, ensuring EU data locality.
